» Key responsibilities:
- You manage the global Seafreight project portfolio and its internal and external project teams & resources.
- You analyse project ideas in terms of their strategic impact for the global Seafreight organization and identify opportunities, risks, investment and resource requirements.
- You monitor the project results, milestone and target achievement as well as the quality of project results.
- You set up and manage regular project jour fixes, steering committees and prepare the results for the project teams and the COO Seafreight.
- You define and introduce uniform working methods for planning, implementing and controlling strategic projects.
- You ensure compliance with legal and departmental requirements (e.g. SOP, ISO, health and safety, HWL policies, data protection, IT processes, etc.)
- You support the COO Seafreight in preparing board meetings and corresponding information and decision papers.
- You analyse financial/operational data and prepare these in status/key figure reports.
» Your skillset:
- You have successfully completed a business degree or a comparable qualification.
- You have already gained experience in the field of project management and PMO (at least 2 years' experience) and you know what is important to successfully manage projects.
- You manage projects and project portfolios in a targeted and transparent manner using agile and state-of-the-art methods and tools/software.
- Experience in logistics, especially in sea freight, is an advantage and will help you to dive into project topics quicker.
- You are characterized by an independent, goal-oriented and structured way of working.
- You are self-confident, able to deal with conflicts and resilient - setbacks and challenges do not throw you off track.
- You are a strong networker and enjoy communicating and working with different cultures, departments and hierarchical levels.
- You convince us with your inventiveness, strength of implementation, while you always think and act entrepreneurially and with a high degree of flexibility and dynamics.
- You bring strong presentation and moderation skills
- You have already worked in an international context and speak German and English business fluently.
